Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer, Systems Software to support the U.S. Army INSCOM CME IT Support Services Contract.

Primary duty location: Fort Gordon, GA, with responsibilities spanning software development, visualization, and data analysis for GEOINT applications. The role requires 7–10+ years in software development, a CS degree or equivalent, and strong Python/Java skills with data analysis libraries.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, Java) and experience with data analysis/visualization libraries to develop custom tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test systems-level software and related solutions; establish operational specifications and analyze software requirements.
• Assess user needs and determine feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints.
• Develop or direct software testing, validation procedures, programming activities, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with analysts, engineers, programmers, and stakeholders on system capabilities, interfaces, and performance requirements.
• Modify and enhance existing software to resolve defects and upgrade interfaces and performance.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using CS, engineering, and math analysis techniques.
• Determine software performance standards and consult with customers on design and issues.
• Prepare reports and project correspondence; coordinate with project managers on data-processing capabilities and constraints.
• Support GEOINT data visualization and custom-tool development per contract mission.
