Job summary

B&A is seeking a Senior Software Developer, Systems Software to support the Army INSCOM CME IT contract. Primary duties include software development, visualization, and data analysis for the AGO, with Fort Gordon, GA as the location.

The role requires 7–10+ years of software development, a BS in CS or related field, and strong Python/Java skills with data analysis libraries; active TS/SCI clearance is required. On-site work with potential travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced programming skills (Python, Java) and data analysis/visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test systems-level software and related solutions.
• Assess user needs and feasibility of software designs within time and cost constraints.
• Develop or direct software testing, validation procedures, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with analysts, engineers, programmers, and stakeholders on system capabilities.
• Modify and enhance existing software to resolve defects and improve performance.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using CS, engineering, and math techniques.
• Determine software performance standards and consult with customers on design and issues.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with project managers on data-processing capabilities.
• Support GEOINT data visualization and custom-tool development per contract.
