Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer with DoD security clearance to perform CPI analysis and SSE requirements development for trusted, secure solutions. This onsite role requires experience in Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity, and real-time embedded systems on DoD programs, with travel up to 25%.

Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; US citizenship is required.
Experience with Anti-Tamper (HW, SW, Systems), Cybersecurity or Software Assurance.
Minimum 3 years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience in Systems/Software Engineering architecture and requirements.
Experience designing, implementing, testing and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on DoD programs.

Responsibilities

Perform CPI analysis.
Generate SSE requirements and perform decomposition and analysis.
Conduct SSE trade-studies and provide path forward recommendations.
Create engineering models and artifacts (functional block, sequence, activity diagrams).
Develop and implement the Anti-Tamper Plan.
Develop and execute V&V Plans and Procedures.
Present at internal and external reviews and milestones.
Report tasking status to program/functional leadership.
Travel up to 25% as needed.
