Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer – System Safety to lead safety-critical systems for the Anthem Flight Deck. You will develop safety requirements, perform analyses, and ensure integration across aviation subsystems to meet stringent standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 6+ years of system engineering and safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain system safety requirements, ensuring proper allocation, traceability, validation, and verification
• Support system design and architecture activities to ensure safety considerations are incorporated early and throughout development
• Perform and support system safety analyses, including FHA, FTA, FMEA, CMA
• Contribute to systems integration efforts, identifying and addressing safety impacts across interfaces and subsystems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, hardware, safety, and certification engineering
• Support compliance with applicable aerospace safety standards and regulatory guidance
• Assist with technical documentation, reviews, and certification artifacts in accordance with Honeywell processes
