Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Systems Safety Engineer – NG Avionics to lead safety activities for the Anthem Flight Deck. You will develop, manage and verify system safety requirements, support design decisions, and perform FHA, FTA, FMEA, CMA analyses across interfaces and subsystems.

You will collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and certification teams to ensure regulatory compliance and robust safety artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences/engineering/mathematics.
• 6+ years of system engineering and safety experience.
• Knowledge of safety analysis tools and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain system safety requirements with traceability and verification.
• Support system design/architecture to embed safety early in development.
• Perform FHA, FTA, FMEA, CMA analyses and document results.
• Contribute to systems integration, addressing safety across interfaces and subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, software, hardware, safety, certification).
• Assist with compliance to aerospace safety standards and regulatory guidance.
