Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for the NGA group to drive design, integration, and implementation of avionics on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck. You will own system architecture and work with product teams to ensure seamless module integration.

You bring 6+ years in systems engineering, software-to-software integration experience, and MBSE familiarity to advance a flagship avionics platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience, including software integrated systems.
• Strong proficiency in systems engineering principles and integration processes.

Responsibilities

• System design, development and integration of avionics solutions for Anthem platform.
• Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis and architecture development.
• Drive software-to-software systems integration for Anthem Flight Deck.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics software.
• Conduct trade studies and feasibility analyses to support development decisions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and interface control documents.
• Coordinate and/or conduct system-level and subsystem-level testing.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Stay current with industry trends and avionics advancements.
