Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck. You’ll drive system architecture, requirements, and integration across avionics modules, collaborating with product teams to deliver a scalable, cloud-enabled cockpit platform.

You will lead systems engineering efforts, assess feasibility, document interfaces, and ensure testing and validation meet performance targets while staying abreast of industry trends in avionics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience, including software integrated systems.
• Strong proficiency in systems engineering principles and systems integration processes, with experience in software-to-software systems integration.

Responsibilities

• System design, development and integration of avionics solutions for our cutting-edge Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.
• Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems.
• Drive software-to-software systems integration efforts for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of Avionics software solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications.
• Conduct trade studies and feasibility analyses to support decision-making for avionics development and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and interface control documents.
• Coordinate and/or conduct system-level and subsystem-level testing
• Identify potential risks in the development and integration process, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in the Avionics space.
