Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck program in Phoenix, Arizona. The role provides technical leadership across design, development and integration of complex avionics systems to meet customer requirements.

The candidate will guide system architecture, ensure safety-critical compliance, and mentor senior engineers while aligning with DO-178/DO-254/ARP4754 standards and program roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM discipline.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience within complex, safety-critical systems (aerospace preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Anthem Core Customer Technical Lead, coordinating and collaborating with a customer team to ensure design and requirement alignment
• Influence and shape technology roadmaps, architectural evolution, and long-term product strategy
• Mentor and coach senior engineers, serving as a multiplier for systems engineering excellence
