Job summary

Washington Nationals is seeking a Systems & SaaS Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and optimization of enterprise systems and SaaS platforms across hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and integrated SaaS apps. You will drive automation, AI-enabled processes, and provide senior technical guidance as an escalation point.

You will share on-call coverage with IT Operations, ensuring reliability, security, and governance across all systems.

Qualifications

Architect enterprise systems across cloud and on‑premises environments.
Design and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure services; monitor performance.
Develop automation solutions and AI-enabled tooling to improve operations.
Lead and provide escalation guidance on systems and SaaS matters.

Responsibilities

Architect, administer, and support enterprise systems across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Manage Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Azure services.
Develop and maintain automation using scripting and Power Platform tools; enable AI tools.
Collaborate with Security, Network, and Analytics teams for secure, scalable infrastructure.
Generate metrics and reports for IT Leadership; guide IT Operations staff.
Provide on-site Event and remote On‑Call support on rotation.
