Job summary

AV in the United States seeks a Software QA Engineer III to plan and execute software verification for complex products, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle. The ideal candidate writes and runs manual test plans, documents defects, and produces project status reports.

You will lead a multidisciplinary test team at events, define QA practices, perform full system and production-level testing, and report results to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant QA experience.
• Experience writing, executing, and monitoring test suites.
• Knowledge of wireless/networking protocols.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual testing on communications applications.
• Lead a multidisciplinary test team at test events and provide reports to customer representatives.
• Write and execute manual test plans, document defects, and produce project status reports.
• Help define and implement QA practices, procedures, standards and reporting.
• Be detail-oriented, analytical with strong verbal and documentation skills.
• Execute full system and production-level test plans on released products prior to shipment.
• Interact with developers and engineers; thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Take initiative, work with minimal supervision, and think creatively about testing scenarios.
