Job summary

Extron in Anaheim, CA is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team. You will conduct manual and automated testing on AV hardware, firmware, and software at a system level, ensuring interoperability with 3rd party products and network topologies in a fast-paced environment using Agile and Waterfall methods.

The role requires a BSCS or BSEE (or equivalent), familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscope and network analyzers, and programming or scripting in Python, C#, or Java.

Qualifications

• BSCS or BSEE or equivalent degree required.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Experience with QA/testing in hardware/software environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manual test of AV hardware, firmware, and software at system level.
• Create/Edit/Execute automation scripts and maintain test tools.
• Develop and maintain Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Reports.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure quality.
