Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software QA Engineer III to independently plan and execute software verification for complex products. The role requires hands-on manual testing, creating and executing test plans, and documenting defects while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will lead QA activities, deliver project status reports, and contribute to QA best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience writing, executing, and monitoring test suites using a variety of technologies.
• Ability to write and maintain test procedures and test plans.
• Strong knowledge of testing fundamentals (unit, smoke, performance, integration, regression).

Responsibilities

• Performs manual testing on communications applications.
• Lead a multidisciplinary test team at test events and report to customer representatives.
• Define and implement QA practices, procedures, standards and reporting.
• Execute full system test plans and production-level test plans prior to shipment to customers.
