Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems and Network Administrator to implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. The role emphasizes Tier 1/2 support, incident resolution, and collaboration across teams.

The candidate will configure Linux/UNIX/Windows environments, manage virtualization, and utilize monitoring tools like HP OneView and Sitescope. Experience with Atlassian tools, GitHub, and ServiceNow is required.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience as a system/network administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Equivalency: five (5) years of additional system/network administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Configure and manage virtual and storage environments; Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Utilize system monitoring tools such as HP Tools / OneView, Sitescope.
• Apply virtualization experience and use Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub, and ServiceNow.
