Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a System Administrator 2 to support the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, configuration, monitoring, operation, and problem resolution of IT systems and infrastructure, including UNIX and Windows operating systems, network components, and client/server/storage/network devices.

This on-site role at our Columbia, MD location requires strong troubleshooting, incident response, and ability to manage day-to-day operations, monitoring, and reliability

Qualifications

• Ten years SA experience on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• In-depth troubleshooting of IT systems.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalation diagnostic resolution.
• Assist with escalation and communication of status to agency management.
• Configure UNIX and Windows OS and optimize system performance.
