Job summary
Collins Aerospace in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support onsite integration, verification and validation of ground and airborne systems within the Open Systems Solutions department.
You will develop test & integration plans, lead onsite tasks, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and guide lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation for SATCOM and sensor systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in writing test and integration plans and documents.
- Participation in medium-scale test and integration activities.
- Experience in supporting a team in requirements development and system architecture.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DNG).
- Knowledge of modeling/simulation tools (e.g., Matlab).
- Understanding of Systems Engineering support for Software, Hardware, and Firmware development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write test and integration plans and documents.
- Participation in onsite integration, verification, and validation tasks.
- Support setup of onsite test environments, laboratories and equipment.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across subsystems.
