Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Section Lead to manage a 70–80 person Systems Integration team within SIT&E. You will guide multi-disciplinary efforts, align execution with engineering goals, and drive risk mitigation to protect performance and schedule. The role includes recruiting and developing talent and collaborating with senior leaders to optimize portfolio health.

U.S. citizenship and a current DoD Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility are required, with onsite work in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8 years of experience, or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SAP.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams and managers.
• Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and senior reviews.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience integrating, testing, and troubleshooting EO/IR, EW, and radar systems.
• Ability to work onsite full time in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop organizational strategy, training and career development approaches, and an innovation roadmap aligned with objectives.
• Create data analysis products supporting customer integration and test programs.
• Analyze complex test data to drive system improvements and insights.
• Develop tools to transform data into actionable insights for design decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers to strengthen technical capability and leadership.
• Present analysis results to senior leaders and customers with impact and recommendations.
• Design workflows to automate testing activities with minimal manual intervention.
• Execute tests on the unit under test (UUT) across HIL and SIL environments.
• Review artifacts to verify system requirements are satisfied.
• Work independently with broad latitude in objectives and methods.
