Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Airborne Platform Sensors – Section Lead to manage a Systems Integration department of 70–80 engineers. You will set objectives, mentor front-line managers, and align work with engineering goals and policy across programs.

Responsibilities include building risk mitigation, developing data analysis tools, and presenting results to senior leadership. This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and onsite work in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with significant experience.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in STEM.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Systems Integration department of 70–80 engineers within SIT&E.
• Set objectives and mentor front-line managers to align execution with goals.
• Oversee programs across BaPs division portfolio and ensure necessary people, training and processes.
• Develop data analysis tools and present insights to senior leadership to drive improvements.
