Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to provide enterprise‑level leadership for test, planning, and verification architectures across NASA programs such as Orion. You will manage requirements, participate in architecture trades, and coach teams in risk planning in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role emphasizes MBSE adoption, interface control studies, and cross‑program integration with external partners to advance the Artemis era in space exploration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of systems engineering experience across multiple domains.
• Strong communication with executive-level engineering decisions and customers.
• Experience mentoring L1/L2 engineers and leading cross-program initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level leadership for test, planning, development, review, and maintenance of requirements and verification architectures.
• Integrate Orion program requirements with NASA teams and external contractors.
• Identify risks and develop strategic risk frameworks; coach teams in risk planning.
• Lead MBSE, requirements management, and system verification/validation activities across programs.
