Job summary

RTX's SETC organization in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Effectors to design, develop and integrate advanced system solutions for our warfighters. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure requirements are rigorous, traceable, and validated across the lifecycle, delivering first-time-right performance.

This on-site role emphasizes requirements management, system verification, MBSE approaches, and mentoring engineers, with opportunities to lead trade studies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 5 years in engineering.
• Experience in developing/refining CONOPS, system architecture, and requirements.
• Experience with system requirements specifications and verification strategies.
• Experience in verification and qualification testing.

Responsibilities

• Update and improve requirements documentation for development and production.
• Support design and system verification testing.
• Provide SE guidance during integration and test efforts.
• Support system performance analysis and integration and test.
• Mentor team members and engage SMEs.
• Participate in failure investigations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer across IPTs/CPTs.
• Conduct trade studies and present results to customers.
• Support test equipment software integration and verification.
