Shield AI is seeking a System Integration Test Engineer to deploy, integrate, and verify Hivemind software on ACP flight hardware across Shield AI and vendor SIL/HIL labs. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, test planning, and cross-team collaboration across engineering and platform partners.

You will drive integration across SIL/HIL environments, develop test plans, close gaps, and coordinate joint campaigns, while traveling to test sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aerospace/electrical/computer systems engineering with a related degree.
• Experience in SIL, HIL, simulation, and flight test environments.
• Ability to write clear integration test plans and artifacts.
• Strong troubleshooting using telemetry, logs, and hardware diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and verify Hivemind software with ACP hardware in SIL/HIL labs.
• Develop detailed integration test plans, schedules, and success criteria.
• Identify and close integration gaps with vendors and Shield engineering.
• Coordinate joint vendor lab execution and lab readiness.
• Lead hands-on lab triage and real-time troubleshooting.
• Drive test automation and tooling to accelerate development.
• Support flight test readiness and post-flight data analysis.
• Travel to test sites as required.
