Job summary

Boeing is seeking mid-level to senior Systems Integration Engineers to join the 787 Systems Integration Engineering team in North Charleston, SC. You will support design, configuration, certification, and delivery of the 787, managing large multisystem projects from concept through testing, production, and handover.

The role collaborates with multiple departments to ensure safety, performance, and customer satisfaction, offering exposure to core aircraft systems and the certification process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in complex systems engineering or system integration.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams in developing and integrating large-scale multi-system projects.
• Lead environments with Environmental Control, Flight Controls, Avionics, and other aircraft subsystems.
• Coordinate with safety/regulatory teams and other departments to ensure compliance.
• Identify process improvements and adopt best practices in systems engineering.
• Maintain knowledge of aircraft certification standards and regulatory requirements.
• Influence teams across internal and external partners to drive results.
• Communicate complex technical data clearly to diverse audiences.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines and budgets, reporting to leadership.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
