Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is hiring for Mid-Level Propulsion System Integration Engineers to join the Propulsion 787 Program Engineering team. You will perform engine, APU, and fuel system integration analyses and support installation and certification deliverables.

Work across disciplines with suppliers to keep 787 deliveries on schedule, resolve complex integration issues, and advance safety and airworthiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in propulsion or airframe integration.
• Experience with system safety analyses and airworthiness processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform propulsion system integration and installation analyses across engine, APU, and fuel systems.
• Maintain certification basis and airworthiness documentation for installations.
• Support qualification testing and analyze results to issue dispositions.
• Troubleshoot production and delivery issues on-site in Charleston.
• Investigate fleet, supplier issues and manage change notices.
• Maintain configuration and requirement artifacts.
• Support safety analyses and airworthiness efforts related to propulsion systems.
• Work under lead supervision to drive technical workflows.
