Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, South Carolina is looking for Airplane Electronic Engineers (Mid-Level & Lead) to join the 787 Electronic Systems team. You will contribute to avionics, integrated modular avionics, network systems, and electrical subsystems in a sustaining production environment.

Responsibilities include capturing and documenting complex system requirements, translating them into designs, and validating across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or related field, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet requirements; monitors supplier performance for integration and compliance.
• Solves problems concerning and provides support of fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.
• Researches technology advances for potential application to business needs.
