Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced systems Hardware Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia. You will design, implement and sustain server/compute platforms, and lead integration with major vendors.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with Poly eligibility and a strong background in hardware engineering and documentation. The position emphasizes lifecycle management, risk assessments, and formal change control to ensure system integrity, with collaboration across

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Poly clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
8+ years of hardware engineering experience.
Experience designing, testing, and evaluating server/compute platforms.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Certifications: IAT II and Security+.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain and improve server/compute platforms.
Perform end-to-end network systems engineering, working with vendors.
Identify and maintain requirements, create BOM, BER, PSC and other procurement documents.
Lead integration with Cisco, HP, Dell, IBM and other vendors.
Ensure QA on all system procurements and build standards.
Manage and control changes to requirements; ensure traceability.
Maintain system baseline integrity through lifecycle from development to operations.
Develop scenarios and an Operational Concept describing system interactions.
Coordinate system integration across teams and interfaces.
Provide analyses for total systems including cost, risk and supportability.
