Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level systems engineer to support the mission through robust hardware and installation design. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship, with a Bachelor's degree and extensive systems engineering experience.

The position includes responsibilities for project documentation, vendor evaluation, and hardware specifications, along with site surveys and network configuration assessments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
• US citizen with Top Secret/SCI clearance and favorable polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters.
• Plan, direct, review, and coordinate preparation of project documentation to meet customer contract and company requirements.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
• Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Analyze hardware specs and system/subsystem requirements to design hardware components that satisfy user needs.
• Develop hardware installation schedules based on setup, integration, and test timelines.
• Conduct site surveys, documenting current site network configuration and site-unique requirements.
