Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a specialized engineering team responsible for ensuring system performance, problem resolution, data trending, and analysis. The role involves supervising engineers, developing tools, and coordinating with multiple sites and partners to accomplish complex tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, strong coding skills, and experience with Agile/DevOps and RF/digital/power/communication systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of related engineering experience or equivalent.
• Coding/scripting fundamentals required.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with RF, digital, power, or communication systems in large 24x7 environments.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering activities across a specialized team to ensure performance and analyze issues.
• Develop and improve operations processes/tools; diagnose unexpected system signatures.
• Coordinate across multiple sites and contractor teams to accomplish tasks.
• Maintain and develop tools to support system operations and analyst duties.
• Deliver training materials and provide classroom lectures on core processes.
• Provide shared on-call support and work off-nominal hours as needed.
• Possibly extended TDYs or PCS to the United Kingdom.
