Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Manager of Systems Engineering 3 for the SI&DE BEE organization. The role is onsite at either McClellan, CA or Chantilly, VA, overseeing a department of ~30 engineers and leading both program/capture work and functional staff.

You will drive planning, baseline control, metrics, staffing and budget management, develop leaders, and ensure rigorous engineering execution while travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution for SI&DE BEE department and staff.
• Develop and mentor technical leaders across multiple programs.
• Manage indirect budgets, staffing, and process improvements.
• Ensure rigorous planning, baselines, metrics, and issue resolution.
