Job summary

The role requires a STEM degree with years of defense industry experience, a Secret clearance, and a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years of experience or Master’s with 6 years or PhD with 3 years in STEM.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
• 3 years of defense or aerospace industry experience.
• 2 years of formal leadership of technical teams.
• 2 years in a technical role; experience with proposals and Earned Value Management.
• Experience in Systems Engineering and on-site work in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a management team aligned to missile launching and handling products.
• Provide continuous support of critical product manufacturing on site in Sunnyvale, CA.
• Oversee execution on one or more engineering development or production programs.
• Lead staffing strategy and implementation across responsible functional areas.
• Drive engineering strategy and practices for the Marine Systems E&S organization.
• Drive predictable financial and program results and contribute to technology roadmaps.
• Support forecasting, recruiting, and continuous process improvements.
