Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Software Engineering Manager 2. This position will be located in Roy, UT.

The candidate will lead software development in an Agile environment, coordinating staff and delivering complex software across the lifecycle. The role requires 8 years with a BS or 6 years with an MS, active US Secret Clearance, and experience with C++ and Python, MBSE, and software requirements management. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 8 years with Bachelor's in Science; 6 years with Master's; 4 years of additional experience may substitute a degree
• Active US Government Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years and ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances
• Experience with executing software development processes
• Experience in software development using C++, Python
• Experience with MBSE, software design & requirement management
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and career development for subordinates
• Define and implement software capabilities and architectures
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams on technical requirements
• Conduct architecture and design reviews and ensure system integration
