Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Engineering in Salt Lake City to lead EW/NGJ systems engineering teams and drive technical execution from concept to fielding.

You will partner with program management, customers, and chief engineers to align architecture, requirements, and schedules with program objectives. The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field with extensive leadership experience in EW/defense programs and active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, with 12+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of technical or engineering leadership, or engineering management, in EW/defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering teams supporting EW and NGJ programs, including resource assignment and performance management.
• Ensure NGJ technical execution aligns with objectives, EW mission needs, schedule and budget.
• Provide technical leadership across the full EW system life cycle from concept to sustainment.
• Develop system architectures and roadmaps for EW, electronic attack, RF and airborne mission systems.
• Oversee requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability and verification planning across RF, software, firmware, and interfacing subsystems.
• Produce high-quality technical artifacts (specifications, ICDs, test plans) and enable reviews with customers.
• Lead internal/external reviews, customer briefings, and program status reviews.
• Manage technical risk and opportunities across NGJ development and production.
