L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to drive technical execution across assigned programs and lifecycle activities for complex systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate requirements into action plans, and track progress to meet cost and schedule objectives.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance on day one and a Bachelor's in engineering with substantial related experience (or equivalent).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 9 years of experience.
Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of related experience.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required on day 1 (U.S. citizenship).

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional technical execution for sustainment of fielded mission networks and LOS systems.
Drive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to support system readiness.
Translate customer needs and field feedback into actionable technical plans and tasks.
Coordinate engineering, integration and test, logistics, manufacturing, and program management activities.
Manage technical risks, issues, actions, and sustainment metrics; report status to leadership.
Ensure changes to fielded systems are evaluated, documented, and verified per processes.
