Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Systems Engineering in Salt Lake City to lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) and the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) programs.

You will oversee architecture, requirements, design, integration, and testing across the lifecycle to deliver high-quality systems engineering products. The role reports to a senior manager and requires active collaboration with program management, customers, and functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Software, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or Graduate degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of technical leadership, engineering management, or cross-disciplinary team leadership on complex EW or defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a systems engineering team for EW and NGJ programs, including staffing and performance management.
• Provide architecture, requirements analysis, and integration leadership across the system life cycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution among systems, RF, electrical, software, mechanical, test, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Support proposal strategy, basis-of-estimate development, and technical volume creation for EW/NGJ pursuits.
• Lead internal/external technical reviews, risk mitigation, and program status reviews; escalate significant decisions to leadership.
