Job summary

Vibrint seeks a System Engineer 5 and Lab Manager to lead secure laboratory operations and the engineering workflow for enterprise infrastructure. You will oversee lab safety, utilization, planning, and cross-team coordination to support mission-critical systems.

In this role you’ll work hands-on with servers, virtualization, Kubernetes, Linux, and RF/network equipment, ensuring on-time build, test, and deployment of capabilities across secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 19 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• IAT Certification Level II.

Responsibilities

• Manage secure laboratory spaces, utilization plans, and day-to-day lab activities.
• Develop and maintain lab-space diagrams, rack elevations, wiring diagrams, and facility utilization plans.
• Coordinate facility planning, power distribution, network connectivity, RF configurations, timing, GPS, and fiber-optic connections.
• Ensure safety, security, and configuration requirements across participating groups.
• Redline LAN, wiring, rack, and system drawings and coordinate updates with drafting.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, barcoding, staging, installation, and decommissioning.
• Support system security plan activities and compliance.
• Integrate and troubleshoot servers, network devices, RF equipment, racks, switches, and timing systems.
• Support Linux, virtual-machine, Kubernetes, and other software environments in the lab.
• Coordinate EMI testing, VPN connectivity, MUC connectivity, and lab requirements.
• Maintain milestone schedules and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with facilities, engineers, cybersecurity teams, vendors, mission users, and leadership.
