Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support the design, deployment, modernization, and sustainment of complex IT systems and SIGINT platforms. The role involves developing engineering documentation, system diagrams, and deployment plans while coordinating across networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.

Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience
High school diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience
Master's degree plus 18 years of systems engineering experience
PhD plus 16 years of systems engineering experience
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Deep understanding of communications technologies, systems architecture, virtualization, and infrastructure
Experience designing, interpreting, and modifying system and network diagrams
Experience administering Linux and Windows environments
Experience integrating, configuring, deploying, and sustaining network and data-processing systems
Experience rack-and-stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and cloud computing concepts
Ability to communicate with technical, operational, and mission stakeholders

Responsibilities

Document phases of system design, implementation, deployment, modernization, and sustainment
Develop design reviews, mission transition plans, and deployment diagrams
Create system diagrams using Visio, Adobe, or similar tools
Support architecture and integration of communications technologies and virtualization
Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems
Deploy and sustain network and data-processing hardware and software
Support Cisco networking technologies and security protocols
Perform rack-and-stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting
Assist deployment of new systems and upgrades at field sites
Apply cloud computing concepts to system designs
Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networks, and infrastructure issues
Produce detailed engineering and deployment documentation
Track requirements and deliverables using Jira and Confluence
Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission teams
Prepare technical reports and briefings using MS Office tools
