Job summary

Vibrint seeks a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain secure network environments supporting mission customers. You will prepare systems in a Columbia lab, support fielding at customer and remote locations, and maintain Cisco, Arista, firewall, and cryptographic infrastructure.

The role involves on-call operational support, occasional overseas travel, and collaboration with government leads and field personnel to ensure mission success. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and sustaining enterprise or mission networks using Cisco and Arista technologies.
• Experience supporting operational firewalls, cryptographic equipment, or other secure network devices.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to overseas locations and provide on-call operational support.
• Ability to work across laboratory, customer-site, and remote operational environments.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I certification.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Education/experience combinations: HS diploma + 12 yrs, Bach + 8 yrs, or Masters + 6 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, operate, and sustain network infrastructure for mission-critical environments.
• Prepare new systems and upgrade configurations in a secure lab before deployment.
• Support fielding at customer and third-party locations worldwide.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista routing and switching infrastructure.
• Support firewall and cryptographic network devices, including secure terminal equipment and secure networks.
• Work Jira tickets involving outages, config changes, hardware replacements, and ops support.
• Perform system security plan compliance activities and support security requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation after training and mission familiarization.
• Travel occasionally to overseas locations as needed.
• Collaborate with government leads, admins, engineers, vendors, and field personnel.
