Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in support of a National Security program to drive end-to-end systems engineering for outreach tools and software products. You will collaborate with product and systems engineering teams to incorporate user feedback, enhance usability, and deliver solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.

The role emphasizes testing usability, integrating COTS/GOTS, and representing development efforts in cross-organizational meetings.

Qualifications

14 years of SE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, CS, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline; five years of additional SE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Active TS SCI clearance with current polygraph required.
Ability to work independently and in a team, in semi-structured situations, identifying gaps and driving tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end systems engineering for software tools supporting outreach activities.
Collaborate with product and Systems Engineering teams to support user feedback-driven design and improve functionality.
Perform product testing focused on usability and user experience to enhance tools.
