Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior System Engineer to apply a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation across the NGA.

You will assess change requests, translate needs into requirements, and guide stakeholder sessions to document IT functional requirements for cost estimation and implementation. On-site in Springfield, VA with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field, or 12+ years of System Engineer experience.
• 12+ years of work experience in government or industry, related to DoW/IC Acquisition, Requirements, PPBES, or large System of Systems/SoA/Cloud environments.
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess IT change requests against enterprise capabilities, policy, and strategy.
• Translate customer needs into system/capability requirements.
• Lead working group sessions to document IT functional requirements for cost estimating and implementation.
