Job summary

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated UX software engineer to support the modernization of a data tracking and metrics system. You will collaborate with systems engineers and developers across projects to plan, design, develop, and present product demonstrations and design documents.

You will work with users to evolve requirements, conduct usability testing, and implement usable, responsive interfaces using React, CSS, JavaScript and HTML within MVC full‑stack patterns.

Qualifications

• UI/UX experience is required.
• 508 compliance knowledge is required.
• Experience with React, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• MVC full stack experience.
• BA/BS degree or 20 years of experience; exception possible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multidisciplinary research with engineers and developers to plan and design the final product.
• Collaborate with customers to evolve requirements and present design documents and demos.
• Oversee product evaluation, integration, testing and design for data tracking/metrics.
• Participate in Agile development; plan sprints and manage Jira tickets.
• Ensure software standards and best practices are followed.
