Job summary

Independent Software, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 5 to support the design, integration, deployment, and sustainment of complex IT systems and SIGINT platforms at FS sites.

You will document all phases of system design and maintenance, collaborate with government stakeholders, and ensure architectures and deployments are well-documented and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field with vast systems engineering experience or equivalent.
• Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Strong Linux and Windows system and network administration experience.
• Experience designing, documenting, and deploying IT infrastructure and SIGINT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical design, deployment, upgrades, and sustainment documentation.
• Create and modify system and network drawings using Visio and Adobe.
• Support architecture, virtualization, and IT infrastructure for SIGINT platforms.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments; coordinate rack/stack deployments.
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and sustain network/data processing systems.
• Support Cisco routers, switches, and security protocols.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Apply cloud computing concepts to system design and integration.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain project records using JIRA, Confluence, Office, and SharePoint.
