Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to support a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The engineer will provide system and test engineering support to multiple program teams, translating requirements and improving designs to meet performance and security needs.

The role requires 10+ years of DoD experience, active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, and a BS in Electrical Engineering, Radar, CS, or related field. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of DoD system engineering experience.
• Experience translating user requirements into technical system requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development, testing, and evaluation of systems and subsystems.
• Provide systems engineering support for acquisitions, including long-term planning, RFP development, and technical oversight.
• Assess capabilities to meet design requirements and specifications; ensure CPI protection.
• Develop and review system architecture, interfaces, and interoperability requirements.
• Support IFPs, IMS, and cost and risk assessments across programs.
• Review system/test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
