Job summary
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Engineering Support SME to provide technical support and advisory services for current and future USAF programs at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio.
The role focuses on systems engineering across DoD initiatives, translating requirements and performing analyses to shape next generation capabilities. The candidate will engage in technical briefings, risk management, and strategy development for acquisition programs while operating in a SAP/SCI
Qualifications
- 12+ years of DoD work experience.
- At least 3 years in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last 5 years.
- Master degree in a field relevant to the role.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Apply DoD/AF engineering principles to improve performance and sustainability of programs.
- Translate user requirements into weapons system requirements for design and fielding.
- Perform technical and mission analyses to support programs and projects.
- Develop subsystem concepts and perform trade-off assessments for designs.
- Support AFRL technology initiatives to guide investments and transitions.
- Develop systems engineering documents and processes across projects.
- Provide technical feedback, briefings, and acquisition strategies for WAG activities.
- Support risk management and configuration control processes.
