Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Entry-Level Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer in the Fort Meade area. You will help ensure technical integrity and quality of work across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including requirements and interface control documentation, DoDAF-aligned architectures, and cross-disciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field with 1 year systems engineering experience; high school diploma or GED with 5 years experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development of systems engineering documentation (SIPs, IC documents, requirements, interface control).
• Manages system requirements to ensure production systems align with DoDAF and SOA architectures.
• Allocates requirements to hardware, software, facility and personnel components.
• Coordinates action items from CCBs, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination.
