Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Entry-Level Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer from Fort Meade. You will ensure technical integrity and deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including documentation and requirements management.

You will also allocate requirements, coordinate cross-discipline reviews, and contribute to program deliverables while communicating with program personnel and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline plus 1 year of systems engineering experience.
• Twelve (12) credit hours in ISO/IEC 15288 areas can substitute for 1 year of experience.
• High school diploma or GED plus 5 years of systems engineering experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development of systems engineering documentation (SIPs, ICDs, requirements specs).
• Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compatible production systems.
• Allocates requirements to hardware, software, facility and personnel components.
• Coordinates action items from CCB, design reviews, and test reviews with cross-discipline teams.
