Akina, Inc. seeks an SE3 Dataflow Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to convert high-level requirements into detailed dataflow plans, including ingest points, transformations, and secure boundary crossings. This role emphasizes proactive problem solving and rapid mastery of new systems.

The position requires strong SOP development skills and the ability to produce repeatable technical recommendations, leveraging existing baselines while customizing solutions for mission needs.

Qualifications

• Formal engineering education and hands-on SE experience across complex systems.
• Ability to design end-to-end dataflow plans with security/privacy controls.
• Experience extracting knowledge and creating repeatable SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level requirements into detailed dataflow plans with ingest points and endpoints.
• Identify and fix complex dataflow routing issues where standard procedures do not exist.
• Research and master new systems/tools to address evolving needs.
• Document repeatable procedures and technical recommendations.
