Job summary

Avid Technology Professionals is seeking a candidate in Annapolis, MD to work on complex data-flow projects and customer requirements. You will collaborate with mission partners, map data needs, and apply NiFi concepts to real-world SIGINT data flows.

You will also leverage Confluence and Jira to manage tasks, document scopes, and coordinate with defense customers and DoD data stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ability to form good relationships with customers and mission partners.
• Reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users.
• Ability to critically think through complex data flow problems, break down effort into manageable tasks, and create/maintain scope out of sometimes vague customer requirements.
• Good working skills with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira.
• Good understanding of data processing capabilities.
• Understands system-to-system connections for data flow processes.
• Basic understanding of NiFi, should understand flow file attributes or be able to learn it quickly.
• Understanding of SIGINT collection and analysis.
• Experience with Military Cryptologic Offices, Tactical Collection Capabilities, Military SIGINT architectures and related data flows.
