Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Data Flow Engineer in the MD/Annapolis area to design, implement, and troubleshoot large data flows using NiagaraFiles. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph and extensive systems engineering experience on related programs.

The position includes evaluating data flows, processing DMRs, and supporting Data Flow Modernization efforts moving flows to a cloud environment. On-call support may be required, with a typical rotation every 6–8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
• 14 years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, or related discipline; 5 additional years of SE experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and troubleshoot large, complex data flows using NiagaraFiles.
• Evaluate data formatting or software issues affecting data flows and coordinate with engineers to resolve them.
• Review or process DMRs and provide solutions to implement efficient Dataflows.
• Participate in Data Flow Modernization, migrating flows to a virtual cloud environment, building requirements with Operations.
