Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support a program from Linthicum, MD or Fairfax, VA. The role covers system engineering, design, integration, verification, and maintenance across all lifecycle stages.
The position requires TS/SCI clearance, strong communication skills, and experience with DoD ground systems and MBSE tools such as DOORS/Cameo. Relocation assistance may be available and health and savings benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience as specified; advanced degrees adjust experience requirements.
- Experience with ground systems engineering, systems integrator or software engineer.
- Experience with requirements engineering, verification and validation, and MBSE.
- Experience interfacing with customers and subcontractors.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Perform system engineering, integration, verification and validation for total systems.
- Work across concept, design, test, installation, operation and maintenance levels.
- Translate requirements into total system solutions respecting constraints.
- Maintain and update operations procedures; incorporate lessons learned.
- Interface with program and customer personnel as required.
