Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal (Level 3) in the Space Sector to join the team in Dulles, VA. This 100% onsite role supports new programs within Space Superiority and Warfighting with a typical 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off.

The role emphasizes systems engineering, requirements management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with a focus on modeling, analysis, and briefing senior leadership. Active SCI clearance is required at time of application.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance required.
• 5 years of professional experience with Bachelor’s, 3 years with Master’s, or 1 year with PhD.
• Experience in systems engineering including architectural studies, baseline definition, requirements & interface management, hardware/software integration, and mission planning & execution.
• Experience collaborating with a cross-discipline engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support major program milestones and readiness reviews by developing technical content and summarizing them for stakeholders.
• Author program data products and other vital deliverables.
• Model mission-level elements with mission partners.
• Develop design reference missions and perform performance analyses.
• Create analysis tools as required; manage interfaces and documentation.
