Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) seeks a Systems Engineer - Level 2 or 3 in Fairfax, VA or Linthicum, MD. You will lead architecture, requirements, and interfaces across a family of products, while collaborating with agile teams and cross-functional hardware/software teams.

Qualifications include STEM degrees and relevant experience, plus traceability and ICD expertise. Clear communication and proactive process improvement are essential. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 0 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of application.
• Experience with traceability matrices linking requirements to design, code, and verification.
• Familiarity with ICDs and interfaces; knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of reusable software components for a multi-variant product line.
• Elicit, analyze, and document system-level requirements for the product family.
• Maintain a traceability matrix linking requirements to design, implementation, and verification.
• Define, develop, and maintain ICDs for hardware-software interfaces.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to translate requirements into user stories and sprint items.
• Oversee integration testing and verification across product variants.
