Job summary

VTG in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support intercept capability projects for state and local law enforcement. This role is 100% onsite.

You will design, test, and verify systems per CALEA and industry standards, develop test plans, analyze data, and report results to agency partners. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI and polygraph, a BS in a relevant field, and 7+ years of security experience; CISSP and ethical hacking training preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable field.
• CISSP certification and training as a certified ethical hacker is a bonus.
• Minimum of seven years of technical security experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plan addendum for Standards and Operational Testing, on-site or remote.
• Collect and analyze test data; quantify issues with ELSUR solutions affecting LE.
• Verify ELSUR solutions meet CALEA requirements and manufacturer specs.
• Develop test plans and archive data; generate Test Results Assessment Reports.
